Weather business area serves selected weather-dependent markets where accurate, real-time, uninterrupted and reliable weather data is essential to run efficient operations. The customers include meteorological institutes, roads and rail authoritites, airport organizations, and defense forces. Energy and maritime industries represent the business area’s private sector customers. Weather provides products and solutions to support the customers’ operational decision making under any weather conditions. Vaisala products and services enable the customers to make effective operational decisions under any weather conditions, without compromising safety.
