TECHNICAL SALESPERSON

We are looking for a dynamic, proven, Sales Representative for our Melbourne office. This full-time role would suit an individual who is passionate about environmental technologies and supporting customers.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Responding to customer requests in a professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner.
  • Undertaking long term follow up with clients building strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Technical capability and an ability to develop application knowledge.
  • Following the Company Sales Procedure.
  • Responding to customers in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Undertaking prospecting and follow up calls to meet targets.
  • Operating as Supplier Champion for a selection of suppliers.
  • Identifying potential new products and suppliers that will enhance our offering.
  • Providing marketing assistance, including newsletter articles and other activities.

The successful applicant should have some technical sales experience, ideally in the environmental sector; be an Australian citizen, with a current Drivers License and a relevant tertiary qualification.

Systems Analyst

We are seeking a Full-time Systems Analyst who will be reporting to the Operations Manager.  The Systems Analyst provides technical support both for our internal team and clients.  Ongoing management and day to day support of internal office IT infrastructure, software and cloud based environmental data management systems.

The candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Helpdesk support including response and delegation of support desk tickets within agreed timeframes. Maintaining customer satisfaction by responding to issues in a timely manner.
  • Technical support to Project Managers in providing data quality and up-time that meet client’s project requirements.
  • Undertaking DataStreamTM updates and modifications as required, including daily back-end checks on system functionality.
  • Helping to improve reporting and visualisation capabilities of our DataStreamTM platform by investigating and trialling alternate software packages.
  • Working with the Managing Director to build the capacity of our Data Management & Reporting Services with the goal to be recognised in the market as the leaders in customised environmental monitoring solutions.
  • Supporting the HydroTerra team with training, set up, installation and operation of internal systems listed for approved IT packages, including preparation of training documentation.
  • Providing internal technical support as required for webinar management, company website and e-learning centre.

Environmental and Electronics Monitoring Technology Technician

Training in the company’s procedures by our experienced and friendly managers will be undertaken to make sure the successful applicant can complete all tasks in a safe, accurate and efficient manner.

Tasks include:

  • Calibration of soil, water, meteorological, gas, air quality and noise monitoring equipment.
  • Data review and fault finding of environmental monitoring equipment
  • Technical support for clients
  • Quotation and scoping for installation of new environmental monitoring equipment
  • Building and commissioning environmental monitoring equipment
  • Field installation, assembly, and commissioning and of Integrated Monitoring Systems

Accreditation or demonstrated experience within these, or similar fields:

  • Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic degree, Diploma, trade or other qualification
  • Environmental Science
